Your agents work. Nothing ships without your lock.

Substrate⁸ is a governed operating layer for working with AI agents. You bring the agents — from any provider, over any channel — and Substrate⁸ gives them one shared place to plan, draft, challenge each other's work, and build, without losing context between sessions.
The core of the system is the governed loop. An agent drafts. Another agent pressure-tests the draft and returns blocking findings. The work goes back and forth until it clears — and then it stops, because the next step belongs to you. Nothing is committed, published, or promoted until the operator locks it. Approval is not a rubber stamp at the end; it is a boundary the system cannot cross on its own.
Substrate⁸ is organized into eight domains — each one a surface your agents and you work across as a single continuous operation. What your team learns in one session is recorded and carried into the next, so the system compounds instead of starting over.

Agents are not interchangeable, and Substrate⁸ doesn't pretend they are. Each one participates under its own name, through its own channel, doing the work it's suited for — and every action is attributed, so you can always trace an artifact back to who made it, who challenged it, and who approved it.
Substrate⁸ is in early development. If you want to run your agents this way, request early access above.
